Friday

This has been a long week. For the most part Natalie was stable but still requiring high amounts of oxygen. They told us to prepare for a long NICU stay and that she may not be off the vent for many weeks or possibly even months. It is a lot to adjust to and so very frustrating when she had been doing so well a few weeks ago. They still don't know why she is continuing to struggle and that is very difficult for us as parents.

Today she is having a particularly hard day. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We are anxious for her doctors to make some headway in figuring her lungs out.

  3. Hey. I'm still in the NICU with my son Landon, he has been in there for 6 months. I just wanted to offer my support because you need all the support you can get. If you ever need someone to talk to, im here. I will pray for your gorgeous daughter and family. When was she born? How early was she? I plan on reading back into ur blogs so I can offer more support with a better understanding. Believe it or not, the NICU experience does end. Have a great night.

  5. Sorry for the rough times. I think of you all the time and keep praying that the scales will tip back into forward progression again for Natalie. Definitely discouraging when things are going so well and then you find yourself back at square one. Can't believe our little people have been here for 7 weeks already! Seems like just yesterday that we were sweating the PPROM experience and forever since the day they were born.

    More prayers headed your way!
