Update

Natalie had some struggles today on C-PAP and had to be reintubated and put back on the ventilator. They expect her to be on low settings. As much as I knew this was a possibility it is still so hard to take a step back. I am trying to see this as time for her to rest and grow so next time it will be for keeps.

She'll get back there, that fact that she was able to do it at all so so HUGE!

  4. Right there with you. Well, just behind you, I guess. We haven't made it onto the breastmilk yet, but my last three nights have been spent holding Timmy with tubes taped around us. I'm sure you feel the same - as long as I can hold my baby, I really couldn't care less!

You're always in my thoughts and prayers. I take a little comfort knowing you're with me on this ride. Hope you are able to do the same! Hugs!

  6. Oh, allow me to add - they tried to extubate Timmy yesterday too. That lasted all of 30 minutes. Soooo frustrating. I was so hoping I would see him off the ventilator this weekend, but now we're back up a bit. He isn't starting quite as high on the settings either, but I just want him off!!! Hugs and prayers to you and Natalie!
